Real letters. Real responses.
Since 1986.
Yellow Letter, Inc. has been mailing direct mail campaigns on behalf of real estate professionals for forty years. We pioneered the yellow letter format and have continued refining it through four recessions, three real estate cycles, and the rise and fall of every digital channel that was supposed to replace direct mail.

The mail that doesn’t look like mail.
The average American gets 454 pieces of direct mail per year. Almost all of it gets thrown out without being opened. A yellow letter doesn’t — because it looks different in the stack.
The yellow paper pulls attention. The realistic handwriting-style font makes it look personal. The real first-class stamp tells the recipient it’s not bulk marketing. The personalization (their name, their property address) makes them read it. We’ve refined every detail across four decades and twelve million pieces.
We’re honest that the letters are not actually handwritten. They’re printed in a highly realistic handwriting-style font on yellow paper. Vendors who claim true handwriting at scale are usually either lying or charging $5+ per letter.
Our format performs because of how the complete package looks in the mailbox, not whether the ink came from a pen.
Forty years of receipts.
We started in 1986. We mailed through the Savings & Loan crisis. The dot-com bust. The 2008 housing crash. COVID. The 2022–2024 rate spike. The format has not failed in any of them.
What changes is the offer. Hot markets want speed and certainty. Cold markets want price-competitive empathy. Rate-spike markets need cash buyers who can close without traditional financing.
Yellow letters work in every cycle because they’re a relationship-building channel disguised as a transaction channel.
The customers who win are systematic. They mail every month, refine over time, track which lists work, and build a brand in their market. Direct mail isn’t a spray-and-pray channel — it’s a system. Our job is to make running that system as easy as possible.
Four things we hold to.
One price.
$1.52 per letter, all-in. Paper, font, personalization, envelope, postage. No setup fees. No contracts on Per-Letter. No per-feature add-ons. The price you see is the price you pay.
72-hour turnaround.
Most campaigns ship within three business days of your approval. We’ve been doing this long enough that production is fast and reliable.
Real humans.
Email us, a real person replies. Call us, a real person answers. We’re a small team and that’s been the standard since 1986.
Self-service.
Upload your list, pick a template (or write your own), enter your details, pay. The system is built so you can run a campaign at midnight on a Tuesday without anyone on our team needing to be involved.
